uttered with my
breath
than when I
admitted that,
yes,
I do indeed
love you
and I will follow
and lead
and tread lightly
and run hard
be both teacher and pupil
on this sojourn
on earth with you.
We are now open to
the promise
of a shared future
through sunrise
and moonglow
moving with purpose
and fresh conviction
through the course of
all of our new days
there will always be
the thrill of our gaze
basking in the
pure lucidity of light
that illuminates
each other
from
within.
