Advice From a Fool

You and Lori just couldn't
stand each other.
So,you came home,to be
with your mother.

You both have played me,
for a fool.
To do that to your mother,
just isn't cool.

You and Lori played both
ends against the middle.
To get releif,I had to solve
the riddle.

Two years have gone by,
and you still have a love,
that will not last.
Why,don't you just forget
it,and leave it in the past.

I know you still love her,
as much as a golf club
putter.
So,don't you lie to me,
or even stutter.

The love you seek,you
will never find.
Because you go into it,
so very blind.

If you both would grow
up,and get your head
on straight.
A good life you would
have,and wouldn't that be great.

The more people you use,
the more you'll lose.
The more you lose,the
shorter your fuse.

So,you see,I knew
everything all along.
Just remember,I tried
to tell you,and I'm not
always wrong.

If you're still going to
see Lori,and you feel
your starting to smother.
For heavens sake,don't
just sit there,go out some
where,and find another.
