I have heard
my dreaded scoff
the relentless adieu
and oh the weather
another Winter
a moment
forever
passive
aggressive
and this love story
well... another story indeed!
as if the Winter doom
should parallel....
a grief torn strife
like the ripped flag
another decade
another disrespect
oh how I lie
a bitter freeze
and the Winter months
seemingly
laughing at my demise
oh the ignorant slumber
oh the bitter tears
and this love.....for now
