Love Poem: Adam's First Date

Adam's First Date

She dug into the garden of Eden

A first of thirst longing for hidden thrust

Curves of sweet blossomed hors d'oeuvre to feed in

Charmed beauty or was it only pure lust

Fragrance of passion and romance for sure

A bee line drew for one bite of the taste

He did not know yet for love was no cure

Only that pleasure was not being chaste

No censorship hiding sensual fruit

When lips met tempting skin and licked the juice

Wondrous symphony thus entered his flute

Unbeknown Adam discovered the truth

Of allergy to dates breathless he teased

Allegorical peaches to be pleased
