Ability To Love Again
To everything,
there is a season
and a time,
to every purpose.
Just as you and I,
in the beginning.
It may have been
the season for,
the birth of our friendship.
But not the time
for our hearts,
to surrender
to something new.
With each day
spent together,
that is a purpose
for our lives.
Helping us,
to keep the growing
friendship alive.
Teaching us daily,
that honesty and understanding
brings trust and comfort
to our hearts.
Now is the season,
for our healing within.
Mending the pains and fears,
that bring us
sorrow and unhappiness.
The purpose of time,
is to find peace
and restore our hearts,
for the ability to love again.
