A Year of Glitter Glow

Glitter glow in fall - Giddy from the hayride that we’d just taken, we stood embracing underneath a yellow harvest moon. The sparkle in your eyes of blue matched the glorious sheen of the myriads of stars that lit that magic night when first we kissed. Glitter glow in winter - Awed by a flurry of new snow along our path as hand in hand we strolled and snowflakes decorated trees, I saw those snowflakes glisten as they touched upon your cheek softly like the words we had no need to speak. Our love was growing, glowing like the snow. Glitter glow in spring - Surprised by a sudden April shower, I trembled more from the thrill of being in your arms than from the chill. An iridescent bow appeared and stretched across blue sky. Your eyes of sky’s same hue were shining too as you proposed beneath that radiant rainbow of our promise. Glitter glow in summer - Gleaming wet from our frolic in the ocean’s waves, we lay entwined on a blanket on the beach, wearing grains of sand like diamonds on our arms and hands and feet. Your sweet face beamed with joy beneath the brilliant orange sun of a honeymoon to treasure in twilight’s glitter glow.
