If I say I pray for you daily would you believe (really what's in it for me)
Yet I've asked God for a chance everyday (get out of here ain't interested)
If I pray with you would you pray. (maybe)
If we held hands would you stay (maybe)
If we talk late in the day. (Oh, maybe)
If I spoke of love and commitment would you stray (I don't know still not interested)
And in the lovely loving part of this day (yeah yeah)
I always ask God what I should say (maybe)
