A Valentine Day's Blessings

Utility bills and hobbies,
Keeps me always busy,
Then we planned happiness,
And freshness to enjoy,
Prospering a day of life.

A waiting for holidays,
What is coming?
Then encouraged to plan,
How shall we celebrate a festival?
Savings minded a belly of saving’s Pot.

Every weekend when we sat together,
Opened a penny pot,
Then counted the coins,
And analysed the marketing,
We targeted to enjoy our pockets.

The rising prices,
Recession or damped values,
Digger a hole in the past,
Where shrinked coins,
Embraced kindness and cooperation.

Increasing options and a developed mind,
Caged happiness, where
Barriers built boundaries,
A religion, Tradition and a language,
Put fire in our hearts to smoke.

A smouldering brain,
Wandering for rest,
Crying for peace,
But A trigger,
Always pointed at him.

There was a valentine day,
Before a night,
Children decorated living room,
And locked for sudden joy,
When we were sleeping in bed.

After eighteen year’s marriage,
Wife wrote me a love letter,
I felt young and loose,
Eighteen’s burden of life,
I enjoyed her again as in my young age.

Happiness cracked down the barriers,
My family was encouraged,
They planned progress,
Supported peace,
A valentine day fragranted in my life.

My closing heart sprouts,
As a red rose,
And soft petals
Hide all thorns
And I forgot my pain.
