A Teenagers Understanding of Love
In the heart of a teen love can be so kind
In their precious little minds
A love can last a life time
From when they have their first kiss
It is more than pure bliss
The passion they feel from the touch on their lips
Is what they long for as they think of things as this,
When a teenager has a crush on a boy they really like
The thought of it ending is just too unreal,
Although if it does end the tears they cry
Are more than real,
Because they are the tears of a broken hearted little girl,
We never want to see this take place
For it puts such sadness upon our face when
We in fact remember the time, the place, and the name
Of our childhood crush,
But always inside a teenagers mind,
Love is love, even at first sight,
And it is never enough to let go,
Because we as teenagers think we always know.
