A Romance Be Born
I didn’t know
If he would show
One day I knew
I’d meet one true
How long It’d be
I couldn’t see
Where was he
A dream for me
And then one day
A man waved hey
He said nice things
My ears they sing
The words not new
Though carried through
And made me feel
Oh happy deal
Maybe love
Is not a drug
And it can be
I’ll wait and see
But now my interest
Is no longer Pinterest
I opened my heart
He drew the chart
And what I seek
Is at this peak
It’s in his eyes
As they look at mine
In a matter of time
Together we’ll shine
A spark will form
A romance be born
And weave a light
That will burn bright
And keep us warm
Literary form
It’s in a poem
So all will know
That love is real
And it will steal
Like a thief at night
My heart’s in flight!
