My baby was born with beautiful dimples and a lovely smile. The nurse's adored her, "Can we hold her for a little while?" I remember when I held you for the first time, close to me. Your sleepy little yawns were miracles to see. Your life was so precious as I looked into your innocent brown eyes. You gave me a wink followed by a yawning sigh. You moved your little fingers and twitched your little nose. MY emotions you created in me, were of tears, love, and joy. Your little giggles and smiley stare. Were magical moments that you and daddy shared. I put my pinky finger in your soft little hand. You squeezed it gently, and our loving bond began. I sang you a sweet soft Lullaby. You yawned one more time, and gently closed your eyes. A precious gift was given to me that night. As I watched you, loving you, till morning light.
