A Plea For Love

A Plea For Love

My chest is a toomb
for my broken heart,
Covered by dust in every part...
in blankets, made not by a loom,
Smothered in the dark.

Tangled webs of mist
haunt this vacant grave
with echos from a reckless knave
Regailing some heroic list
Pity cannot save.

Is there not a rose
For this heart to beat
of petals soft and smell so sweet
To open up what death did close...
Ressurrect...Complete...?
