A Mothers Lullaby

Endless ribbons all intertwined,
Between our hearts, between our minds,
A soft white soul, i love so dear,
The smell of sunshine when you are near.
Bubbles of laughter that fill the air,
The wind that wraps around your hair,
Smiles like moonbeams that warm my heart,
Cold shadows pass when we’re apart.
My love, your heart within me stays
To stay there for all my life long days
One touch is like a warm embrace,
Mental keepsakes of your sweet face.
My love for you it knows no time,
For i am yours and you are mine.
You pain is mine, our load is shared.
Through darkest nights when you are scared,
I’ll light the way, make monsters flee,
When you are weak i’ll carry thee.
When we’re apart the love that binds
Will hold us close in hearts and minds.
When stormy skies may lay ahead,
Your heart is broken, full of dread,
I’ll give you strength, my dear don’t fret,
Together we’ll face any threat.
My love, these words i give to you,
To show the love we have so true,
A love no world can tear apart,
You’re here within me, here in my heart.
