Love Poem: A Mother's Love

A Mother's Love

The blood in your veins is tainted
You carry him around
Your eyes, replicas of my hatred
For the man who gave you life

No matter what road you take
No matter what title you acquire
You'll always be a product of regret
You'll always be a liar

Your heart can not be true
Your mind will give in to weakness
Your genes are his, your soul; his too
There's nothing you can do

Unfortunate that you are you
I can't see past him when I look at you
I can't love you because you're you

The blood in your veins is tainted.
