A Home Remembers

A HOME
TELLS THE STORY OF FAMILIES EVERYWHERE.
OBJECTS IN THE HOME KEEP THOSE MEMORIES
AND NEVER LET THEM GO. YOU CAN LIE TO YOURSELF
BUT NEVER YOUR HOME.
A TABLE REMEMBERS ALL THOSE
FAMILY DINNERS WERE YOUR MOTHER
MADE BISCUITS AND GOOD FAMILY MEALS.
A PIANO REMEMBERS TEARS FROM A
BOY TRYING TO LEARN EAGER TO PLEASE A FATHER
WHO WAS NEVER IMPRESSED WITH HIS SLOW LEARNING SON.
A BED REMEMBERS LIFE BEING MADE IN A PASSIONATE CRY.
IT REMEMBERS SLEEPING CHILDREN AND MOTHERS LULLABY.
BUT THE WINDOWS REMEMBER THE MOST OF ALL. THE MOTHER
LOSING TOUCH WITH HER SON AS HE GREW INTO HIS WORLD
AND OUT OF HERS.
A FATHER WHO LOST
CONTROL JUST ONCE NEVER BEFORE
BELIEVING HE COULD
HURT HIS SWEET WIFE THE ONE HE PROMISED TO LOVE FOR LIFE.
AND FINALLY THEY REMEMBERING THEM LEAVING AND THE
CHILDREN S SAD EYES WORDLESSLY SAYING GOODBYE. THE HOUSE
REMEMBERED IT ENDING THOSE FAMILIES ALWAYS LEAVING WITH THE
MEMORIES THAT NEVER WENT AWAY WITH TIME.
