A Heart's Cry

I feel the breeze, it's getting windy.
The wind is making me feel lonely.
The loneliness is sinking down,
sinking to the core a sound,
a sound that is unique and loud,
loud and high comes up and out.
Out of my core to the atmosphere,
the atmosphere just holds it there,
holds it there, in mid-air.
In the air, something rare,
rare and fine detects this thing.
This thing that makes the high-pitched ring.
This ring was heard by something true,
true and beautiful and new.
New and beating right in time
to another heart, a heart that's mine.
My heart let out a final beat,
a final beat when our hearts did meet.
Our hearts met, mine let out a sigh.
thanking your heart for hearing it's cry.
