A Heart Grown In Love For Christmas

Boy Grinch The boy grinch went home crying to his mom "I don't think I am loved by anyone Can't agree with all my pals say or do And they won't listen to my point of view." "Now you just come listen to me, my son Free speech is entitled to everyone And they're allowed to have their share of fun So go tell 'em that from this moment on." "It's you that must change attitudes, dear son So do your best always from this day on" Grinch slunk away and began thinking hard Then felt a stirring occur in his heart. From that moment on he began to change Smiling at all folk who came within range The response he got gave him great pleasure Knew he'd not have the grumps again, ever. Then he gave his mom a kiss and a hug Thanked her for all of her caring and love She told him, "son you are my joy, my pride I knew one day you'd find goodness inside." He knew in heart it must be how Scrooge felt He'd found out what Christmas was all about It's the giving, sharing, caring and love And rejoicing in our gift from above. At that he went out shouting loud and clear, "God Bless, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year.”
