Who feels His gentleness

Into the darkest places
I want a heart
Who knows He is alive
Stirring hope on the inside
Coloring my life in hues so bright
I can’t even imagine a better way
Than the way He has for me today
I want to be someone
Who He can bless with His love
I want Him to know He is the One
Who makes my life so worthy
I want to give Him all my best
My faith, my joy, my tenderness
All the gifts He’s blessed me with
Gifts poured out across my soul

All the beauty I see in this place

And give their hearts to Him to receive
As gifts of love – rained down from above
I want a heart… who beats tenderly for Him
The One who came to make a way for His friends
The hearts who love the way He planned
The hearts who give the way He intended
