Love Poem: A Good Plan

A Good Plan

Can one weigh out the goodness in fact?
Of one who returns a lost wallet intact?
No mention of a reward, just here then gone.
Perhaps a similar action may get passed on.

When on the corner a hand grabs you from behind,
Just in time to avoid a speeding car that ran a stop sign.
You turn to thank him but there’s no one there.
As if he had completely vanished into thin air.

Reach out with imagination and grasp those dreams,
With earnest prayer, the trek will be easier than it seems.
Share your talents, which are your blessing, with those in need.
Put away all thoughts of animosity, power, and greed.

Go the extra mile and miles shall be added unto you.
Follow the footprints of Saints and your path shall be true.
Open your heart and hands to receive, when in prayer.
No doubt you will find that the answer's always there.

The unspoken law of one good deed deserves another,
Is it a simple system of giving and loving your brother?
Serving without expectations will bring the cream to the top.
A plain plan of promise and prolific prosperity, nonstop!
