A Glass Half Full

Such waste! Such waste! I yell to them
each time they leave a glass.
My children leave them everywhere.
My anger is coming fast.
I turn around and there I see
a glass, half full of fluid.
There I go, steam from the ears,
to find out who would do it!
To my surprise, another room,
four more glasses found.
What is it they were doing
to have left all them around?
I cannot take the disregard
for the money, it’s just wasted.
Too much of it is being spent
on the drinks that they’ve just tasted!
So, from now on, plastic cups
and on each one a name.
Then, I will know the true culprit
and next time, who to blame.
So, if you ever need a way
to eliminate the waste,
use plastic cups with their names.
Never again, will they just taste.
If by chance, they still use a glass
and are giving you some bull,
then sit them down and make them drink
what’s left of what’s half full.
