Love Poem: A Flower On the Tower

A Flower On the Tower

Poised with elegance rare
Confidence oozing...
Eyes fixed with a glance and stare
Melting the garrison of my heart
Once fortified to parry away
Darts from others
Who could rip open the healing wounds
I am disarmed......

A gazelle, marble, turquoise...a rare gem
Help me describe
To your heart...I have subscribed!

Though miles away
Yet serenity, gentleness, calmness and integrity radiates

Your heart's desire is mine as well
To seek HIS Kingdom first...you are a saint!
Purified by the reason of faith in the CROSS
Behold the old is gone...all has become new
Says the WORD!
Yesterday's condemnation, guilt and shame
In HIS precious BLOOD drowned!

Be my medical prescription...I implore
My comfort, my shelter ...my joy!

The queen that you are
To me you shall become
The Empress of my Empire!
To you shall be given...all that you desire and require
No longer shall you be
That flower on the tower
...so scarce like the autumn shower...
For in the garden of my heart
Firmly you have been, PLANTED!
