A Father and Grandfathers Prayer
Father please speak to my children & grandchildren's heart.
In the fourth watch, before their day starts.
As they move about throughout their day.
Bring believer's alongside them as they make their way.
Only those that are walking in Your truth.
The elderly with wisdom and passionate youth.
From each of their memory, let it not get away.
The reason why Jesus died for them that day.
Help this father and grandfather to be more aware.
That their image in my mind is a prompting to prayer.
Keep your convictions coming to keep me on track.
My flesh can get weak and my faith walk sometimes lack.
As dad and grandpa, Lord you've appointed me.
To be watchman and prayer warrior of my family.
Of the 67 years living, 40 with You I've walked.
Falling, crying and praying to you, I've talked.
Long ago you have proven that your word is true.
I pray that they all will know this better than I do.
Draw each one of them to my Facebook some days.
So they'll learn by my failures to walk with you the right way.
Lord through your word, may they each come to understand.
They're cursed when they depend on any woman or man.
For those who come after me. This I proclaim.
There is victory for us only, in Jesus name!!!
