A Dozen Roses

A dozen roses lying at your feet
Everyone is like the other none can compete
Eleven roses lying at your step
Everyone is like the other place your bet
Ten roses lying at the end of your bed
Everyone is like other none of them are dead
Nine roses lying on your table
Everyone is like the other beautiful and stable
Eight roses lying on your car
Everyone is like the other, found close not far
Seven roses lying on your floor
Everyone looks the same yet each you adore
Six roses lying on your counter
Everyone is like the other there each about her
Five roses lying on the desk
Everyone is like the other there nothing but the best
Four roses lying on the stand
Everyone is like the other there from your man
Three roses lying in your tub
Everyone is like the other you just cant get enough
Two roses lying on your chest
Everyone is like the other this isn’t a test
The last rose will never die
It is glass and you ask why
The day your single glass rose dies
Is the day that we part and say our goodbyes
