A Crescendo, Then a Starburst

This dreamlike creature beside me in bed With long golden tresses and lips of red Eyes like blue sapphires and skin like satin All packaged up in a womanly wrapping She raises her body as we both breathe as one She caresses my face, the passion's begun There's no turning back on this magical ride We ascend ever skyward, we're burning inside We explode with emotion enveloped in love As we ride on a zephyr to the heaven's above A crescendo, then a starburst, we rest on a cloud Proclaiming devotion as we sing it out loud © Jack Ellison 2013
