Love Poem: A Book Worm Girl

A Book Worm Girl

Even, as a child I liked to read books,
        and other kids called me a nerd, and a geek;
      but I did not care because books are hooks,
        I was always a bookworm reading freak.
  Always at words was I gazing,
  for knowledge amazing;
    always another book grazing.
  always looking for another book good,
              always on the search for books small and big.
        Old is like a book worm captor-
      I read excited for the next chapter.
        My rooms are cluttered with books in odd piles,
  I love the feel of the yellowed pages;
  when people visit I get some strange smiles,
    because I am organizing them in stages.
  But ,I keep stopping to read,
                   of a poet long dead;
        their words swirling in my head.
      huge, fathomless dictionaries,
         and Bio's and vast libraries.
  I just love reading,
  I am bookworm who is always a book- needing.
