A Blank Screen
A blank screen is staring back at me
Taunting me, laughing at what it sees
A poet struggling to find the right words
To express his feelings, it's totally absurd
It should be a snap, words should roll out
Describing what his feelings are all about
About love and passion and heart felt desire
Being together, experiencing love's fire
It appears this love has me totally lost
Realize now doesn't come without cost
Nights without sleep tossing and turning
Thinking of we two, oh what a yearning
A beautiful story of love we're writing
Never felt anything quite so exciting
Where will it lead, only heaven knows
I'm along for the ride, wherever it goes
My life has become this magical ride
Never again this love I will hide
I'll shout from the rooftops loud and clear
Our love will last for eternity, my dear
