A Bitter Relationship
Just left a relationship that lasted three painful years,
Don't understand why I stayed so long but realized it was love.
Not on his end but mines,
I stayed up some nights wondering why,
Cried myself to sleep other nights,
Taking in every lie especially when he cheated wit my cousin,
Still.....I was with him,
Many friends lost because they warned me,
Refusing to listen i cut them loose,
Now i regret it,
I've built up enough strength to let go,
I forgave and forgot,
We're friends....nothing more,
I may still love him yes,
But that chapter called Relationship,
Is totally over!
