When I Dwelt Deep Within Your Soft Shimmering Lights a Collaboration With Brenda Chiri

When I Dwelt Deep Within Your Soft, Shimmering Lights
( Part One- The Heartfelt Plea )

When I dwelt deep within your soft, shimmering lights
you gave me love and all your sexual delights.
I traced your every curve to its treasured reward
now I write these loving words as a lovesick bard.

Remember those promises you and I both swore
before those wicked lies both our melded hearts tore.
Hold those treasured moments of our every embrace
do not let darkness bring forth its wanton disgrace.

With me, your love shines ever brighter each new morn.
With you not here, my life is tortured and forlorn.

Nights I pray for our love to again find its home,
you return and no longer those foreign shores roam.
As I look into our once bright starlit skies
I ask you, why did you believe him and his lies.

Return to romance, let our love find deepest gold
I beg you, do so before we are both too old.
Know that Fate had joined us and that was no mistake
pray you see truth, before this heart forever breaks.

With me, your love shines ever brighter each new morn.
With you not here, my life is tortured and forlorn.

(Part Two---Her Reply)

Love in me, once I had nothing, gave all its true
Your light, always guided me on my long trek to you
I dream of your hot body up close against mine
Naked in your arms, is where I always feel fine

Those promises, they were true I meant every word
But I was lost as you, lies I had overheard
I miss your love, arms holding me ever so tight
I regret it all now, right down to our last fight

I have been home with you, left you my heart and soul
I left it all with you, to keep you warm and whole

Forever I waited, for you to call me home
Never wanted to leave, from you I would not roam
As we gaze at stars together, same time tonight
Lies told, I ran thinking you couldn't stand my sight

I always wanted to return to see your face
No love can compare to us, its like silk and lace
Not once did I ever think we were a mistake
Away any longer, this pain I cannot take

I have been home with you, left you my heart and soul
I left it all with you, to keep you warm and whole
