Used to mean you were independent
Now it just means your longing
and your wanting
Friends don't even need to diss ya style
They make you envious without even knowing
Wearing their pride for their relationships
Like a wedding ring
They no longer have any time for you
Little single old you
Steady tryna set me up cause apparently
The way I am is just so out of season it's ridiculous
I try to suck it all up
Be the strong independent me
But this me is starting to suck
I've officially turned off the TV
I'm sick of this new trend
Cause it's left me out
Longing to be in
Is it really a sin to want to fit in?
