What Love Really Does

I have enjoyed the tranquil to speak without moving my lips!
It takes more than your heart and soul to revel this odd indulgence,
It’s more than just the talking;
It’s a heart to heart communication!

But I must admit;
I was never the same afterwards!
I was never sane afterwards!
See, love will hit you right once before it hits you in all the wrong places…
One moment it was all perfect what could have gone wrong now!
Maybe I’m still dreaming I need to wake and swab my eyes.

You’d come me in the silence of the night and I would not sleep,
I would give that intent look
Ask if you love me and you say yes!
Are you mine and you say No!

I hate to hear your silent voice
I hate to know that this is what love really does
If I had not set my foot here I would not mind the steep
But I have and I have been hurled into the deep!
I cannot enjoy the tranquil to speak without moving my lips anymore,
I cannot revel this odd indulgence!

I find myself still and distraughtly staring at the skies with impatience,
If shadows could and blinds pass on swiftly
Maybe one day I’ll finally forget that I have ever been here!
