I walked after the rain
it was so calm and quiet
I did not mind, because I found a chance
to be alone with you in my mind.
You did not say much again
and I did not mind the silence
the sidewalk was long
but we walked to the very end
me, with you in my mind.
The birds were singing happy songs
and all of the trees wearing smiles
it was nice walking after the rain
just me, with you in my mind.
