The Lord God Full of Compassion and Grace - Psalm 103: 8
The Lord is full of compassion
no earthly being can produce this
for God is eternal fully and completely
knows our needs nothing to miss
grace is God's middle name
sums up His character to a tee
God's righteousness at Christ's expense
His gift of salvation being so free
This God also is slow to anger
being patient and so very kind
looking out for those caught in sin
wishing them to not be so blind
For God gives sinners His gospel
with His knowledge, turn and look
come and be saved to all the world
so hear God's voice in His holy book
The love of God is like no other
for He is abounding in it all
wishing to give it out so freely
persuading us to turn around like Paul
(Psalm 103:8
