The Hatred of Two Families, For the Love of Two People

Purely a reject at heart,
To everyone else she is just so different.
Parents who are clueless,
They don’t know how they truly are affecting her and her life.
Her dreams are to be accepted,
But that task seems so hard for everyone to do.
She’s too different,
Her family is too difficult to handle.
She sits in the dark in exile it seems,
The only light in her is the blazing candle of her dreams.
She aims so high and falls so low,
She promises herself she will never let go.
Love can only go so far,
He seems so near,
But lives so far.
She tries to paint a silhouette of her life so grand,
But everyone knows her future is only in fates hands.
But his love for her is oh so strong,
He sees past everything that is wrong.
She feels she is not good enough for his family,
He reassures her that he will always love her.
He holds her when she cries,
They know their love is not based on lies.
She falls short of their expectations,
She shows no hesitation to try to be herself.
