She Is Over Kissed, She Is Charmed With Mist By Nikolay Zabolotsky

She is over kissed, she is charmed with mist,
She is married with wind in the field by once,
You are wrapped in chains and I hold your wrists,
"Precious woman of mine!" - whispers now my mouth.

She is not so glad, she is not so sad
like a stranger who came from the darkest sky,
You're engagement song, you are little mad
star of mine and I give you my every sigh.

I'll bow over knees to embrace to kiss
to be restless and wild and you will be burnt
with my loving verse with my happy tears,
oh, my bitter and sweet, yes, I am so fond.

Show me face of yours, midnight that I chose,
Let me in, oh, my god, in your heavy eyes,
Let me in again in these black eyebrows
in your half-naked hands, eastern beauty's nice.

Something will increase, something will decrease,
Something should not become, we'll forget it all,
Why're you crying, sweet? Do I see your tears
or it seems to me in this lightless hall?

P.S. This is my translation of poem by Nikolay Zabolotsky.
