If I, Would You

If I were water, would you get wet? And if I were a flame, would you even sweat? Because if I were leaving, you'd be the destination. And if I needed an answer, you'd be the explanation. Because there's nothing I need, if I don't need you. And can't never could, if did would never do. So if I were a joke, you'd be the laughter. And if I were a wreck, you be a disaster. If I needed a friend, could I call upon you? Because you're like the night sky when it meets the color blue. A spectacular sun rise every morning in I see, a beautiful sun set when you're laying next to me. You're my whole wide world, you're my reason to be. You hold me together, like gravity. You're the air that I breathe, you're the wind beneath my wings. So if i were a music note, would you hear me sing? Could you hear the rhythm of my melody? As if my heart were a drum, you make it beat. So if I were an excuse, you'd be the reason. And if I were the weather, you'd be the seasons. Because only when I'm with you, do I feel complete. So if love is a battlefield, then my heart's in defeat. You're every letter I write, you're every word I see. You're all that I want, so you can call it greed. So if I were a poem, would you read me? I guess you just did, because you complete me.
