Inseparable
He hugs me gently, and it feels so good
that at that moment, I'm ready to die.
For; only selfless love feels like love should,
and it makes me want to break down and cry.
He gazes up into my eyes and smiles
as he sees the happy tears start to swell.
And I forget about life's hurts and trials,
for when I'm safe in his arms, all is well.
He makes me feel loved and completely whole,
for together, we are a perfect fit.
And we share one composite heart and soul
that's indestructible and can't be split.
Two inseparable haves are now one,
and our journey together has begun.
