Dear Carolyn
soft subtle joy suffused grace
vibrant reflections of a poets face
imbibing and infusing joyous exuberance
myriad love hues of heats bubbling innocence
we recall her published works with pleasure
a favourite of mine titled ‘a token gesture’
oh dear Carolyn, as fated, you have left us too soon
we remember you fondly looking at yonder moon
although you are gone, to your words we swoon
there is a poignant stillness pervading the air
magic of joyous cadence with which all pair
