Come Here, My Dear, and Have No Fear

Come here my dear and have no fear
My arms are strong, my reach is long
With just my song, I'll fix what's wrong
Be of good cheer, I'll dry your tear

I come from there where rests your prayer
For someone who would love you, too,
And make a pair who would then dare
To say "I do" and not adieu -
So I am here to be your peer,
I will be true to only you
