Love Poem: Cheater, Cheater

Cheater, Cheater

I never found the tokens that she sent, or yours to her
It wasn't in your cold, hard glare or lipstick on your shirt
There wasn't any lonely nights or lies you had to work
But somehow I'm not angry, I'm more relieved than hurt
I never saw this coming but it's been there all along
It never felt like coming home was somewhere I belonged
For how long would we live a lie, a life shroud in deceit
The truth was only spilt when you called out for her in sleep
