A Silly One For My Wife On a Thursday Morning Because She Deserves Daily Poetry
her snores echo around
our cozy bed chamber
I'm wakened by the sound
thinking we're in danger
just 'tis a spouse so pretty
I keep my husband's poise
how can one so itty bitty
make such humongous noise?
a little shake I'll have to use
to nudge away the sleepy problem
but it's really just an excuse
to put my hand on her cute bottom
