Love Poem: Stubborn

Stubborn

I'm locked in
True to the end

Tunnel vision on fleek
To my foes, idleness, I bequeath

An oak tree standing
not moving, glorious goals I'm demanding

Aspiring to beautiful dreams
Not meditating on memes

Social distancing but not because of COVID
Frying fish and making doughnuts 'cause mindlessness and sloth are outmoded

I'm stubborn about my dreams because they're mine
You got 24 just like me, I suggest you not play with 'Father Time'

I'm stubborn about my goals
Failure to plan will certainly invite woes

I'm stubborn about my life
to live frivolously is like dancing with strife

I'm just a stubborn man
And my HAPPY I will forever demand
