In the Height of Love
I placed my hand upon her head
She moved quietly closer to me
We experienced a calmer peace
That radiated between us
She eclipsed my heart with love
Bestowed like no other human
We breathed as one inside
Each other’s open eyes together
The realm of romance was reached
When we became as one
Our light burns brightly
Like the flame of an eternal candle
Forever doesn’t seem long enough
For our love to exist
We surely will persist
