Love Poem: I Must Cry

I Must Cry

When someone like Bob Simon dies.
It's quite appropriate that someone cries.
It's not enough to breath and sigh.
It's only right that I must cry.

My macho male sentiment.
Ends up with just a little dent.
For shock and sadness wins the hour.
And in my heart tears start to shower.

Some might say, gee'z, get a life.
But we all know that our world's rife.
With pain and sorrow of many kinds.
And it is love that the heart finds.

So rest in peace our dear Bob Simon.
I'll still be here with my rhymn'.
I know now that the streets are paved.
With memories of those lost engraved.
