HAPPINESS ACROSTIC
H er gentle touch soothed his broken spirit
A nd he knew his heart was forever enslaved
P oetry she sang sweetly, he could hear it
P romised their names in stone to be engraved
I n her songs the words healed and enhanced
N ew feelings just begging to be released
E very year, each other they deeply romanced
S avoring love, every touch and kiss increased
S o when that promise came neither feared it
