It is a fallacy to imagine
I could know your pain
The depth of loss for one we love
And who's loved us
Could never be transposed.
But I do understand...
Your loss is very great
And very distressing
I offer all the sympathy..
Empathy...support...
I can summon.
I'm hear to give...
Comfort and companionship
Through these terrible, difficult days...

As are my time and attendance
