ADIEU
Abloom rose in my covert emotion
blended in beauty, charm, fragrance
adorned you on love and adoration.
My heart beats danced on ripples of romance.
I wished to offer you scarlet red rose
to place in your heart to glow, glaze in glare.
I had a mind to come close and propose.
Your frowning eye brows ignored without care.
My dazzling desires fled with windy breeze
In sky of love with dear dove yearned to soar.
Dear dove stole love from trove of heart at ease,
flew free in spree, left me at sandy shore.
Bell of adieu rang, my feelings froze.
Pallid petals drooped within wilted rose.
