Absolute True Love
It's what's inside that counts,
not all the things you have around,
It's a heart that feels, and cares,
not those fancy clothes one wears.
It's family, and friends,
one holds so dear,
not a mouth that will criticize, and smear..
It's hearing your name
called, from your mothers lips,
knowing her journey is about to end.
It's teaching your children what's right,
and wrong, so if they stray,
one day they will find their way back home.
It's just knowing that God is with us,
allowing us to be on our own,
giving us choices, and the Commandments,
showing us, right from wrong.
It's knowing the best is yet to come,
but that can't happen, until our work is done.
It's true love, absolute, undeniable, beautiful
true love.
