Love Poem: A Smphony

A Smphony

A Symphony composed of enemies, timed trapped by the illusions of the mind

Games play for days, the melancholy moods that transfuse and transform, that have one waiting wanting to feel those all too familiar arms
Alarming is the thought of winning at any cost as we get lost in what we suppose should be, as one more dream gets lost in this self-perplexed reality
Enemies of time, declining to stand still, miles that refuse to move and wishes that refuse to yield
Crying in the night as the enemy yells out please, the melody of a voice that’s all it takes to set the soul at ease,
then there is us, a blossom in the dark, a sapping in the rubble, the essence, a teeny tiny spark, and life, so the enemy must return to eradicate the hope, to destroy what’s not yet born, to turn us from this course
The enemy has a purpose as the miles have a place, to seek out what is living, to dismiss us from our journey, to cut short a conscious race. And then there is you, he that can leap a single mile, that carries the torch and wears his hope with style, yes, there is you, the one that seeks the truth in time, which moves outside reality and embraces the wish sublime, then there is me a shadow in the dark, hiding what I desire, at all cost I must protect my heart, here it is I stand, all by myself, looking for my breath, waiting to exhale.

Wondering how I can make time my friend, when it passes me in the night, refusing to give in,
Asking hope to change my course in life, to see me as a comrade, to pull out this double edged knife
I am tired of fighting caution, I‘d like to throw it in the wind, enter twine my thoughts and desires to have the story never end, where happily ever after does not mean my dreams go unseen, but my reality takes a course that changes everything,
 Are you that reality?
