Love Poem: A Ripple In Time

A Ripple In Time

A Ripple in Time Twilight’s seductive serenade rides upon An empty rippling canvas through time A painter’s pallet rests across the canvass Ready to paint memories as they take place The first night of summer where a crimson sun Drops down into the sea, splashes across the canvass A starlit sky wrapped around a milky way of dreams Appeared by a lake where two lovers lie beneath a blue moon Passion became a ripple of young love forever etched in time Their first embrace, first kiss and first love burst with colors Across the canvass like the fourth of July, emptying the pallet Into the creation that rippled into a waterfall of summer beauty Between each velvet ripple through time are precious memories That will live forever in your heart and mind building one moment Upon another during the course of your life leaving its glow As a smile across your soul keeping you forever young As life’s hourglass of sand Ripples through time Carole Cookie Arnold
