Love Poem: A Razors Edge

A Razors Edge

On a razors edge we walk
Palpable, the strain.
Days go by, we hardly talk
Yet still we play this game.

As you pass me in the hall
You barely raise a smile.
Why do I stay at all,
For it hurts me all the while.

When I see that vacant look,
Love has surely died.
Fragile were the steps I took,
But pointless... still, I tried.
